Nearly four decades of connecting, educating, and empowering entrepreneurs worldwide.

1987

EO is Founded

Verne Harnish founds the Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO) in Washington D.C. with a group of entrepreneurial peers who believe business owners learn best from one another.

1994

First International Chapters

EO expands beyond the United States, establishing chapters in Canada, UK, and Australia — proving that entrepreneurship transcends borders.

1998

EO India Launches

The first EO chapter in India is established, bringing the power of peer-to-peer learning to Indian entrepreneurs at a time of transformative economic liberalisation and growth.

2002

Renamed Entrepreneurs' Organization

Reflecting the maturity of its global membership, YEO becomes the Entrepreneurs' Organization — open to any entrepreneur, regardless of age.

2015

EO Accelerator Launched

EO introduces its Accelerator program, supporting entrepreneurs with revenues between US $250K–$1M (approx. ₹2–8.5 Cr) on their path toward full EO membership.

2020

20,000 Members Worldwide

EO surpasses 20,000 members across 60+ countries — a global community of entrepreneurs united by a commitment to learning and growth.

Today

EO Odisha Chapter

EO Odisha becomes part of the global network, connecting Bhubaneswar's most ambitious entrepreneurs — from IT and steel to pharma and tourism — with peers across 220+ chapters and 62 countries.
